Join Our Team
Arcadia High School is opening in Southwest Houston to serve the Alief community with a reimagined high school experience. Our team-teaching model brings together Expert Teachers, Lead Teachers, and Teaching Fellows to provide small learning communities and strong support for every student. Explore our current openings below and learn how you can help us build an excellent new school for students and families.
Lead the launch of Arcadia High School as our founding Principal. You’ll shape the instructional vision, build and coach the staff, and ensure students experience rigorous learning, strong relationships, and real-world preparation from day one.
Teaching Fellows are early-career educators who support small-group instruction, student culture, and day-to-day classroom routines while receiving intensive coaching and free teacher certification, with a pathway to become a Lead Teacher.
The Special Education Teacher will provide in-class special education support and specially designed instruction while owning key systems that ensure strong, compliant services as the school grows.
Serve as the lead instructor and coach on a Teacher Team. Expert Teachers deliver high-quality, TEKS-aligned instruction while coaching a Lead Teacher and Teaching Fellows through daily feedback, rehearsal, and data meetings.
The Special Education Director will lead Arcadia’s special education program, supporting students in class while building strong systems for IEPs, ARDs, compliance, services, and staff support.
The Head Counselor will lead Arcadia’s student support program focused on student well-being, behavior, and attendance, and coordinate SEL-focused partners and mental health supports.
Lead Teachers co-plan and co-teach in a two-hour core block with an Expert Teacher and three Teaching Fellows, providing small-group instruction and mentoring Fellows as they grow into future classroom teachers.
Partner with Pashto-speaking families and community organizations to share information about Arcadia, support enrollment, and provide translation and interpretation for key events and communications.
The Counselor will provide direct student counseling, small groups, and family partnership work while implementing consistent student support and intervention systems.
